The Fowlerville Agricultural Society is hosting the 1st Annual Michigan Soybean Festival on September 10 and 11. Michigan Soybean Promotion Committee is a sponsor of this entertaining and educational event that will take place at the Fowlerville Family Fairgrounds at 8800 West Grand River just minutes off I-96 at exit 129.
The Michigan Soybean Festival will celebrate the history and the versatility of the soybean with hands-on exhibits and soy bio-based products available for purchase. Attendees of this event will enjoy children's inflatables, Beginning of Life exhibit, and antique tractor pull.
Games, self-guided tours of the historic village, vendors of new and used items, delicious food, the music of the Modern Day Drifters are some of the items to be featured. Also, the 2011 Michigan Soybean King and Queen (an educational pageant/contest) will be announced during the festival.
